Social Skiing

SERVICES

Social Skiing

Are you looking to meet new people, explore the mountains and discover the pistes with like-minded people of the same ski standard and have some fun? Then look at joining our FREE Snow Club in resort and enjoy the best that our resorts have to offer without even having to open a piste map...

...social skiing is the perfect way for you to….

  • explore the pistes with other skiers of the same standard

  • discover unfrequented parts of the mountain

  • get to know other people

  • have lots of fun with like-minded people.

We will introduce similar standards of skiers to each other so that they can form their own group to explore the mountain at their own pace. For those who would like to take part, a member of our staff will help organise the groups into two or three categories – the fast reds/blacks, medium reds/blues and cruise the blues. You must be able to ski a minimum of a blue piste to take part.

Lift Passes

As opposed to the larger resorts in France, our resorts are extremely good value when it comes to lift pass prices. See SKI DEALS for details.

Equipment Hire

Whether you are just learning to ski or are an expert skier we have a choice of skis suited for you available in our in-house ski shops*. We have graded the skis Bronze, Silver and Gold to help you pre-book your choice.

Gold Skis = For advanced skiers. When booking gold skis you can swap as often as you wish during your holiday so you have the freedom to try whatever you want!!

Silver Skis = For intermediate skiers.

Bronze Skis = For beginners or early intermediate skiers.

We also offer a wide selection of ski boots, snowboards(from local shop), helmets, snowshoes and children’s skis and boots. If you decide to bring your own skis our staff will be happy to wax, service and adjust them for a small charge.

*When pre-booking your ski and boot hire prior to travel you are entitled to a 10% discount. See SKI DEALS for details.

Snow Guarantee

Due to the variable early season snowfalls, we provide a special snow guarantee FREE  of charge. It covers departures from mid-December to 14 January except any holiday durations which include New Year's Eve. If every ski area on our normal programme has less than 50% of its lifts open, then 5-3 days before departure you can decide to change your holiday to our other hotel the same week or change to another departure date, subject to availability*.

For the rest of the season in the unlikely event that there is no snow at your resort, we promise to provide road transport completely FREE of charge to the nearest available ski area, as listed below. At each resort we can find guaranteed skiing on high passes or glaciers within a very reasonable distance.
